Buddy Furqueron, DDS

Dr. Buddy Furqueron, known by most as Dr. Buddy is a committed and compassionate dentist striving to always provide extraordinary patient care. He was born and raised in New London and Arp, TX. He completed his high school education at Arp High School before earning his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University. Dr. Furqueron then obtained his Doctorate of Dentistry from the prestigious Baylor College of Dentistry, the A&M System. In dental school he gained extensive knowledge, honed his clinical skills and upon graduation in 1997 has proudly served the East Texas area as he is proud of his roots.

Dr. Furqueron offers a patient-focused approach, with the goal that every individual is comfortable and receives an extraordinary, caring dental experience. His compassion and relatability put patients at ease and many even come to call him friend. He is consistently pursuing continuing education and embraces modern dental technologies to ensure your dental health and functionality are the best they can be.

Apart from dentistry, Dr. Buddy cherishes spending time with his college sweetheart turned wife, Amy, his daughter and son-in-law, Carly and Reid Gordon, and his daughter Sheldon. He is an active member of Community Baptist Church and is a loyal supporter of the Texas A&M Aggies. Whether he’s cheering on his alma mater or enjoying quality moments with loved ones, Dr. Furqueron’s dedication and enthusiasm are evident in all aspects of his life. A fun fact about Dr. Buddy is that he is also a Division 1 college football official, a role he deeply enjoys. Other passions extend to traveling and working on outdoor projects.

With a strong educational background and a heartfelt commitment to his patients, Dr. Furqueron is dedicated to helping you achieve and maintain a healthy, beautiful smile.

Alikah

Meet Alikah, one of the friendly faces dedicated to making your experience at Cornerstone Dental comfortable and positive. Alikah enjoys the variety that comes with working in general dentistry, but her favorite aspect of her work is you. She loves helping everyone feel at ease during their dental visits and takes pride in creating an environment where you feel cared for, relaxed, and confident about returning for future treatment. Alikah is a newlywed, new to Tyler and loves being a puppy mom to Jax. She's never too busy to share a picture of him and tell you of his most recent adventures. To know her is to love her. She brings a lot of joy and laughter to the Cornerstone Dental team!

Angela

Angela is a highly skilled Registered Dental Assistant who has been serving patients in the dental field since 2008. Over the years, she has gained extensive experience in oral surgery, general dentistry, and implant dentistry, making her a valuable part of the Cornerstone Dental team. Known for both her clinical knowledge and compassionate approach, Angela has a special ability to help patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visits. Her calm demeanor, empathetic personality, and lighthearted sense of humor often help even the most anxious patients feel more relaxed and at ease in the dental chair. Angela is passionate about creating a positive experience for every patient and takes pride in helping people feel confident in their smiles while receiving high-quality care. On a more personal note, Angela has been married for 16 years and is the proud mother of two wonderful boys. Family is at the center of her life, and she treasures the time she spends with them above all others.

Reagan

Reagan grew up in Arp and began her career in the dental field in 2024 as a dental assistant. Her passion for helping people and creating a positive experience for patients quickly led her into her current role at the front desk, where she is often the friendly voice you hear when calling to schedule appointments at Cornerstone Dental. Reagan loves making patients feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door. Known for her warm personality and sense of humor, she enjoys helping people feel comfortable, cared for, and maybe even getting a laugh or two along the way. Outside of the office, Reagan enjoys spending time outdoors and making memories with her family and friends whenever she can. Her friendly nature and positive attitude make her a wonderful part of the Cornerstone Dental team. 💛

Tracy

Tracy is Cornerstone Dental's premier hygienist! She moved to East Texas in the summer of 2017 after her husband retired from the Amarillo Fire Department because they love trees. They have one grown and 2 mini schnauzers. A few things that Tracy loves are nature, animals, taking photos, creating art, hiking and listening to audible books. She plays some pickleball and also mountain bikes. Years ago she took some fun artsy photos of her dog and in 2024 turned them into a book that she self-published. You can find a copy in the dental office waiting room. She started her hygiene career in 1992. Her favorite thing about being a hygienist is taking care of others by helping with home care, providing dental education, easing dental anxiety and just being there for someone in need. Tracy wants you to know that she is thankful Dr. Buddy opened Cornerstone Dental and included her as part of his team. She wholeheartedly believes that she could not have found a better place to work and that as a patient you won't find a better dental home.

Angie

Angie is a Tyler native who is happy to call East Texas home again after years of traveling across the country—from Florida to California—with her husband. She began her career in dentistry in 2001 and brings years of experience, dedication, and compassion to the Cornerstone Dental team. Angie loves helping patients understand and maximize their insurance benefits, and you’ll often find her hard at work making the financial side of dental care as smooth and stress-free as possible. Outside the office, Angie enjoys drag racing, roller coasters, traveling, animals, and spending time with her family. Her pride and joy are her energetic 3-year-old great nephew, 7-month-old great nephew, and 2-month-old great niece, who keep life fun and full of love.
